Are you a student who’s getting married? Are you worried about paying for both your wedding and your tuition?
It’s not hard to believe that the average cost of tuition and fees for the 2015-2016 school years was $32,405 at private colleges, $9,410 for state residents at public colleges, and $23,893 for out-of-state residents attending public universities. (CollegeData.com)
Furthermore, according to CNN Money, couples are now spending more than $30,000 to get married. Paying for a dress, a venue, a DJ, flowers, food, and photography (among other expenses) can quickly become very expensive. Forget about the honeymoon!
Diamond Mansion wants to help you.
Starting this fall, we’re going to award a $1,000 scholarship to the one person who can dazzle us with an essay in response to the following question: How will earning an undergraduate or graduate degree better prepare you for being a life partner and/or parent?
All you need to do is write a 500-word response to this question and send it to [email protected] by September 30, 2016. We’ll choose one winner, who’ll receive a check from us directly.
