I have nothing but great things to say about my experience purchasing an engagement ring from this place. I found the ring/Diamond Mansion from Rare Carat. I was iffy for awhile about such a big purchase without actually seeing the end product (they’re in CA, I’m in IL). I decided to go for it, and from the get-go, Dino’s customer service was fantastic. He communicated easily and worked with me. As I waited for them to do their thing getting my ring put together and cleaned up, I started to feel buyers remorse (I do this with every big purchase I make). But when the delivery came and I finally laid my eyes on it, I knew this was THE ring. It was absolutely beautiful. When I finally proposed, she was in awe of it. I came to find Diamond Mansion online after searching local jewellers in Calgary, AB, both in-store and on their websites, and was pretty dismayed at the cost of diamonds / engagement rings locally. I started looking at other sites like James Allen and Blue Nile, and came across Diamond Mansion through their listings on ebay. The prices for the rings shown were pretty reasonable and I felt like I wouldn't be paying for a company's brand or heavy advertising (hello Spence Diamonds). The only drawbacks that gave me some hesitation were buying internationally from a vendor selling on ebay, and generally only seeing rings in a CGI format before having them physically build something for you. Having said that, the staff (Dino, in particular) were still very helpful with questions / concerns and made the process pretty easy. Also having a GIA grading for the centre stone was a plus. At the end of the day, the ring turned out fantastic, I've got a fiancé that loves it, and a local jeweller confirmed the ring's worth and stone characteristics. Combine that with the fact that I paid significantly less than what I would have if I bought locally, and it's a no brainer. Telling your gf that you bought her bling in L.A. doesn't hurt either. I found Diamond Mansion through a Google search. I try to stay clear of the big designer stores and sites. Those markups are ridiculous. Although the tennis earrings were shown on the site, the pair I purchased were custom made to order. Dino was fabulous to work with and the end product was beautiful. Price and quality were both excellent. It was as if we went to the diamond district and pick these out in person. Great experience!!Read More
